I read Guiding Readers by Lori Jamison Rog with the Teaching Blog Addict group this summer. It was very helpful, but she suggests that we not complete a chapter book with a group. Only a chapter or 2 from it and then let them finish it on their own during independent reading. What is your opinion on this?
